The RYA Assistant Instructor Course will aid you in your journey to becoming a fully qualified RYA instructor in your chosen discipline.
Date: June 2024 - June 2025
- Syllabus:
- Training will cover basic teaching principles, of teaching RYA Syllabus, and centre procedures (see RYA book G14).
- RYA PB1 and 2
- RYA First Aid (8hrs)
- Candidates will be assessed on their teaching ability with beginners.
- The training and assessment can be conducted by an appropriately trained Senior Instructor.
Pre Requisites:
- Aged 13+ YSS Stage 4 and progressing to Seamanship
